Beyond Food Foundation and Searcys have teamed up to announce their Christmas campaign for this November and December.
The companies will mark the campaign launch with a fundraiser dinner, hosted at Searcys’ restaurant St Pancras Brasserie on Thursday, November 7.
Running across the festive months, Searcys and Beyond Food will raise funds through a £1 donation on every cover across all restaurants. Last year’s campaign raised more than £10,000 for Beyond Food, which helped support the charity’s efforts to provide skills development, training and career support to disadvantaged, vulnerable and often homeless Londoners.
To celebrate the launch, the St Pancras Brasserie by Searcys will host a ticketed wine dinner, in which Beyond Food apprentices will work with the Searcys’ chef team in the surrounds of the Kitchen Table.
Starting from 6.30pm, diners will have a four-course menu with a champagne and wine pairing, guided by Searcys’ drinks ambassador Joel Claustre MCA. Crafted by executive head chef Colin Layfield, the menu will showcase the best of seasonal British produce.
Tickets will cost £69 per person, with a contribution from each ticket going towards the Beyond Food Foundation. Spaces can be booked online at stpancrasbysearcys.co.uk.
The launch of this year’s partnership will coincide with the release of Beyond Food Foundation’s 2019 Social Impact Report. The charity is currently training 11 apprentices and preparing to start the process for its January 2020 intake.
