M & Bookatable Young Chef of the Year competition returns

M & Bookatable Young Chef of the Year in association with Champagne Pommery, a nationwide competition showcasing the industry’s best up-and-coming talent, is returning for its third year.

Following heats in London and Manchester, the finalists will host their own pop-up night, with judging from diners and industry figures.

The judging panel which includes top chefs and food writers such as Adam Handling, James Knappett and Felicity Spector will provide 50% of each chef’s final score, whilst the other 50% will be awarded by diners on the night.

The winner will be crowned Young Chef of the Year at an awards ceremony on 4 September, and will also receive mentoring from M Restaurants culinary director Mike Reid, and a trip to Champagne courtesy of Champagne Pommery.
